Clarifiers in activated sludge treatment plants rarely function optimally: sludge upwelling, sludge veil, difficulties in treating phosphorus from TSS, excessive consumption of ferric chloride and energy.
The Speed-O-Clar device remedies these problems by transforming the bottom currents into centripetal forces. This increases the size of the flocs and speeds-up their sedimentation.
With no energy input, integrating with all types of existing circular clarifiers, maintenance- free, with no impact on civil engineering and installed in less than 48 hours, the Speed-O- Clar increases the capacity of the plant while reducing power consumption and the quantity of coagulants.
